Things to check for before calling a licensed technician:
If your unit does NOT turn on:
- Has the circuit breaker been tripped?
- Is the ‘power’ switch on?
- Is the unit on ‘heating’ operation? If so, it may need a few minutes to warm-up
- Vermin may have chewed the wiring. In this case, call a technician
- There may be an internal fault. In this case, call a technician
If your unit does NOT cool or heat effectively:
- Is the air filter clogged/dirty?
- Allow time for the room to cool if is it an exceptionally hot day
- Is the temperature set correctly?

To re-gas a unit once a gas leak is fixed form
- R410A -$150 + Gst/Kg
- R22 -$350+Gst/Kg
- R32 -$160+Gst/Kg
-Average air conditioner takes 1-2Kg i.e. if air conditioner is not cooling or if there is oil around the unit.
Minimum charge is 1Kg of gas .
